Bridging the Physical World and Cyber Space with the OpenEL Conceptual Model (Part 1) — From Real-Time Digital Twin Construction to AI-Driven Source Code Generation —

JASA Special Seminar

[Abstract]

This presentation introduces "OpenEL"—a specification that abstracts sensor and actuator hardware and standardizes APIs—along with its formal representation, the "OpenEL conceptual model." By rigorously modeling device structures, this framework provides a foundation for building real-time digital twins of physical devices within cyberspace. Furthermore, we will explore a cutting-edge approach that leverages this structured model to enable AI to automatically generate device driver source code, and discuss future prospects in this field.
