As embedded and automotive software grows in scale and complexity, organizations face the challenge of maintaining quality and accelerating development amid talent shortages. In offshore development, adding engineers alone cannot resolve issues such as differing interpretations of requirements and review bottlenecks.
This session introduces VTI’s approach to moving from conventional outsourced development to collaborative teams that work with customers to identify challenges and define value and priorities. It covers role allocation across teams in Japan and Vietnam, requirements and planning support, project management and PMO support, and AI applications with attention to quality and safety. The session also explains how small pilots can provide a foundation for developing autonomous teams and establishing and expanding an Offshore Development Center (ODC).
