Mastering Complexity in a Rapidly Changing Environment: The Embedded Ecosystem of the Future

EdgeTech+ Keynote Session

Whether railway, automotive, medtech or robotics, we all face the challenge of increasing complexity and pressure to reduce time-to-market. Volatilities in supply chains, emerging technologies and fast-changing requirements call for adaptability and speed. This keynote explores how an integrated embedded ecosystem approach – combining middleware and RTOS with a SIL to HIL validation strategy including AI verification – enables organizations to accelerate innovation, improve quality, and master the complexity of next-generation embedded systems.

Dr. Philipp Hallmen studied computational quantum chemistry at the University of Stuttgart. At Vector, he leads a team developing and applying advanced embedded development platforms across multiple industries, including medical technology, railway, and robotics.

Dr. Manuel Hüpfel studied physics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. At Vector, he has supported numerous customers in the implementation of innovative development and test concepts. He is active primarily in the area of medical technology, with additional experience in railway and industrial applications.
