Bridging the Physical World and Cyber Space with the OpenEL Conceptual Model (Part 2) — Exploring the Boundary Between Mathematical Models and Device Development: Hakoniwa as a Simulation-First Experimentation Platform —

JASA Special Seminar

Hakoniwa is a simulation platform that connects diverse engineering disciplines, technologies, and simulators within a shared time and space.

Building on the OpenEL conceptual model and digital twin vision presented in Part 1, this talk introduces Hakoniwa's architecture and applications, and explores simulation-first development, where mathematical models guide device design.

Real-world devices, however, involve noise, delays, and calibration challenges. Drawing on practical experience with Hakoniwa, we discuss where these gaps should be addressed and how Hakoniwa can serve as an experimental platform for collaborative exploration and validation across engineering disciplines.
