While AI-driven development is spreading rapidly, safety, deterministic behavior, and accountability are essential in automotive control systems, making a full transition to AI-driven development far from straightforward.

This session presents an approach that combines AI with the proven development processes that have long ensured safety, in order to cope with the explosive growth in development and verification workloads. Taking into account practical operational challenges such as optimizing token costs, we also introduce hands-on methods for co-creating with AI in automotive development as of 2026.
