The Japanese automotive industry is lagging behind in efforts to realize SDVs and autonomous driving. To catch up, the industry needs to transform not only its software development practices but also its overall vehicle development processes and corporate culture. This presentation will examine the current state of the Japanese automotive industry and discuss the key challenges that must be addressed in the SDV era.
